Walk MS Central Valley is back in person on April 27th, but you can still go virtual!!! We have not yet raised enough awareness so every person knows what MS is and what it does, and our biggest battle...? We have not yet found a cure for this insidious disease. So, combat continues. Whether you will be at Walk with me as part of the team, walking where you are as a virtual member of the team, donating funds as a contributor or sponsor, you're important. Join me on the front lines in our mission to raise funds and awareness of this amazing community.

Why MMA:
I include MMA in my Walk MS efforts and everything I do because individuals with Multiple Sclerosis are fighters. What better community to support and help lead the charge in the fight against this insidious disease than those who have made a commitment in their lives to train, sacrifice, and do what needs to be done to win the fight?

About MS
Multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that interrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. MS is different for everyone, and that makes it all the more challenging to solve. The first Walk MS event was held in 1988, and since then, more than $920 million has been raised for research and programs to improve the lives of people living with MS.  Today, there are treatments where there weren't any before, and the dream of ending MS is becoming a reality.  MS affects nearly 1 million people in the United States alone...and there are many who are as yet undiagnosed. There is still a lot of work to do!
